Deve8uk
Hi Since I added the better map MOD I seem to have negative gold in my inventory. I bought a house in whiterun but I cannot buy anything from merchants, just says I dont have enough gold. In my inventory there is a minus sign. Is there anything I can do, I have tried going back to a saved game, and not running the MOD etc? Oh the colour bar at the bottom is red, I don't know if this is relevant Also, can I add gold to a chest, I just cant work out a way to do it my idea was to add the gold to the chest and then take it out. On a PC FYI.
JanusForbeare
I'm expecting someone to ninja this before I can post, but I'll try anyways... Open your console (~) and type "player.additem 0000000f ________" (without quotes, where ________ is the amount of gold you want/need). The money will be added directly to your inventory. Weird bug. Thanks forgot to say I have tried this. I just end up with a larger negative.Ive even tried player.removeitem 000000000f # and it just stays the same

Weird bug. What if you use this advice, but instead of putting how much gold you want put in a negative number instead. It won't solve the bug, but it might put you back in the black. JanusForbeare
Thanks forgot to say I have tried this. I just end up with a larger negative.Ive even tried player.removeitem 000000000f # and it just stays the same Okay, try this... -Open the console-Select some random NPC-Type additem 0000000f #-Type kill-Close console, loot your gold-Open console, type resurrect Hopefully that does it. EDIT: Was thinking about it, and it's possible that one of your mods revalued septims to -1 instead of 1. If this is the case, the problem won't be fixable until you uninstall the mod in question. BrknSoul
Protip: "0000000f" is the same as "f" eg;player.additem f 10000 will add 10,000 septims.
Deve8uk
Unfortunately all of these ideas have made it worse. I now have -17000000000000 Ive killed, resurrected and all that happend is the number gets higher (or lower). I started on 17000 and figured I would put in a number higher. Deve8uk
OK I finally got it sorted. Well I am in the + again. Adding the amount once wasn't enough, I had to do it twice before looting.
