Negative Gold in inventory

Hi

Since I added the better map MOD I seem to have negative gold in my inventory. I bought a house in whiterun but I cannot buy anything from merchants, just says I dont have enough gold. In my inventory there is a minus sign. Is there anything I can do, I have tried going back to a saved game, and not running the MOD etc?

Oh the colour bar at the bottom is red, I don't know if this is relevant

Also, can I add gold to a chest, I just cant work out a way to do it my idea was to add the gold to the chest and then take it out.

On a PC FYI.

I'm expecting someone to ninja this before I can post, but I'll try anyways...

Open your console (~) and type "player.additem 0000000f ________" (without quotes, where ________ is the amount of gold you want/need). The money will be added directly to your inventory.

Weird bug.

Thanks forgot to say I have tried this. I just end up with a larger negative.

Ive even tried player.removeitem 000000000f # and it just stays the same

What if you use this advice, but instead of putting how much gold you want put in a negative number instead. It won't solve the bug, but it might put you back in the black.

Okay, try this...

-Open the console

-Select some random NPC

-Type additem 0000000f #

-Type kill

-Close console, loot your gold

-Open console, type resurrect

Hopefully that does it.

EDIT: Was thinking about it, and it's possible that one of your mods revalued septims to -1 instead of 1. If this is the case, the problem won't be fixable until you uninstall the mod in question.
