Fitch3k
I would like to slow the passage of time, does this break any of the quests?
BlackRampage
Not that I know of. And I have it slowed by a factor 20.
Gribbleshnibit8
Big mods like FWE and Arwen's change it lower. As far as I know, there is nothing that will cause issues, though setting it super low to things like 1:1 could cause issues. I know in FNV there were issues with super low timescales, but I've never heard of any in FO3. I'm personally using a ported custom version of Imp's Dynamic Timescale mod from FNV to manage my timescale in Fo3 on the fly. Because traveling should take longer than standing around in a shop.
TheFourthHorse
In New Vegas, slowing the timescale while playing hardcore caused you to starve to death while you sleep for some reason. I don’t know if that would happen with any FO3 hunger mods but if you don’t have any it won’t be a problem. I used FWE and Project Nevada which aloud for both so I wouldn’t know but I had my timescale set to about 3 or 4 when I played and never had any other problems. Gribbleshnibit8
Most needs mods for FO3, that I know of, take timescale into account. I know for a fact that IMCN does. As for the starving in FNV, that's because they figured no one would ever want to change it or something, and set the rates via globals or gamesettings or something. Imp's Dynamic Timescale mod, or any of the other several dynamic timescale mods, get around that by refactoring the rates based on timescale. Another thing in FNV that caused issues was that some quests used timescale or something for a calculation, and very low values would cause the game to crash. In Fo3 you should not have any issues though. A timescale of 15 would probably be a good option.
