VulcansHammer10
I am hoping to get a solid mod install sequence for vanilla Skyrim Special Edition so as to minimize clashes and install the most recomened mods in a functional manner. As I understand it the Graphic extender and mod manager are the first two installs required.Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks A good start and guide is SEPTIM (link below). I useit as a base and my installation with over 220 active mods is working great. Ofc you have to adapt it to your own taste but the order to do things and the general metod is solid. Some of the mods in the guide are Oldrim and some need special tweaks, if unserten... avoid those and only use SE mods installed via NMM.http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2846/? Ok now I'm going to check the guide out that you posted the link for. I'm currently up to about 110 mods and running solid so far. Haven't added any real text/graphics mods but I've got about 1/2 dozen I'm considering adding into the game. so hopefully this will help me with them as I've never, even in Oldrim, used them. You see I'm playing the game and adding mods as I go testing them out. seeing if I get any CTDs or other weird things happening in game. Now of that 220 active mods do you have "Open Cities? and "Wet and Cold" and do you have any issues with them?
Mercury71
I use Open Citises with no problem. Some mods need patches for OC, look for that. I dont use wet and cold. Installing new mods as you go can be tricky. Alwase do a save before. Texture mods (mods that dont ad anything but just changes apparance) is normaly not gamebraking. Adding content or changing character, gameplay and npc's are worse. In my first moded play i spen like 200 hours and reached L43 i think before the unreparable crash... so i learned the hard way. My plug in loadorder atm below...
