Can anyone help me with this as its been 3 months since the new patch and I cannot seem to use this at all.

If installed correctly F4SE will not (cannot) cause your game to crash. If you are experiencing crashes, you have either installed the F4SE files incorrectly or you have another issue (missing master, major conflict, etc). I would suggest deleting ALL files from F4SE, then re-installing. Make sure you are downloading the most recent version from http://f4se.silverlock.org/. Extract the zip file somewhere and copy ALL files from the zip file into your game folder with the fallout4.exe. Further, make sure you are starting your game with the f4se launcher.

If that doesn't work and you're still getting crashes, there's something else wrong.

I am having a similar problem. Installed F4SE as instructed (thanks to excellent video by Gopher). Game ran fine until I added some animation mods from LoveLab, after which game has continually crashed at the "intro" screen (Continue, Load, Save, . . .). Runs fine when loaded using Steam Launcher. Tried downloading F4SE (again), installing it (again): no luck. I disabled all the aforementioned LoveLab mods, to no avail. While they are interesting distractions, I'm more interested in activating / using Sim Settlements and Transfer Settlement Blueprints, both of which were working with F4SE before and neither of which I can use without starting the game through F4SE. Please help.

I also added the Papyrus script that I got from somewhere here on Nexus (think it was for Transfer Settlements, which I can't use, either). I can play the game through the "regular" launcher, but feel like I'm missing a lot of content (blueprints, etc.) by not being able to use F4SE.

Thanks in advance for any help, guidance, pointing me in the right direction, etc.

i have 300 odd mods.. trying to find mods to turn off, or whatever... like i can "update" a mod, if there is an update...

but i have not been able to figure out how to search for the f4se mods i am using i just totally dumped transfer settlements ( only used it once kept crashing and anytime i go near the settlement ( the castle ) my game freezes so f*#@ that noise...

Do a search by tags and you should get most mods that require F4SE.

FWIW, my F4SE still is not working without an eventual (not immediate) CTD, and I have updated all known mods using it of my 200+ mods. Still no controller support, either (acts like every button is pushed twice instead of once), and I have no mods or software to alter controllers save what Steam has built in for defaults (which I played with to fix the problem, too, to no avail).

But my game runs fine for the most part if I launch from the Steam launcher instead of F4SE. :/

This is not a problem with newbies. It is a problem for a select few of us, though, and it lies somewhere with certain F4SE supported mods.

Edit: Rather than replying to the post following this one, I will edit in what should be obvious from my above statements - In addition to having updated all mods that are F4SE reliant, my version of F4SE is up to date, as well. But thank you for your well-intented response. :)
