deadjedi655321
Can you make standalone 1H and 2H versions? nice work on the Mjolnir mod btw really nice detail Edited February 5, 2012 by deadjedi655321
ghosu
Well dude, as usual...depends on the time i can invest. Can't even guarantee to complete it but at least i will try - 2h or 1h and standalone should be no problem.
gotenwarrior61
I don't mean to undermine the generous modder who just said he would attempt to create it himself, but I have used something very similar in Oblivion a few years back. In fact, it is the most downloaded Oblivion weapon mod Adonnay's Elven Weaponry @ TesNexus I have seen many old Oblivion weapon and armor addons converted for Skyrim, so if you could research that a little then you might already have it solved. I know nothing about this kind of stuff so don't take my word for it, but to my understanding the weapon's mesh is just a .nif that could literally be selected when creating a new weapon as the model for Skyrim. But I wouldn't know how to do that until the CK is released. I know it's not perfect, maybe the modder designing it could use it as help. Just trying to be helpful.
deadjedi655321
I used that mod as i'm sure everyone else did, and a few people have taken some stuff from it I use in Skyrim now.
ghosu
Jeah they look nice but the textures are different...so the only part i could use would be the mesh, already made one myself, just needs some detail work, textures will be "more fun" - as usual ^^ will update within the next 24h i guess, have to do some other stuff now. http://666kb.com/i/c10gjvon9c6k70671.png

ghosu
Small update: Those images you posted are pretty low resolution, the sword looks fine in 3rd person but i don't like the image quality of the 1st person hilt, would need a much better image since i don't have the time to draw the whole thing.Pretty hard to find a fitting position for the hands in the 2h sword version...in the movie they hold it quite different, not possible ingame atm, i guess this one fits best, tried higher and lower positions but it looked weird. http://i43.tinypic.com/xfbu5v.png I'll finish it tomorrow, it's 4 in the morning here, need to sleep...work on monday. greetings Edited February 6, 2012 by ghosu
