Real vision enb

So I have never used enb's with skyrim before, and I very much wanted to use this enb. I followed a youtube tutorial perfectly, and when it came to installing the enb from the realvision launcher, I had an error that said that I did not have permission to do so. Ive had this problem before, with files not allowing permission. I thought I had fixed my problem by no longer having steam or my other games or files in program files x86. Apparently thats not the case. I tried looking this issue up online and how to allow access to all files with the security settings, but I could not change anything. Can anyone help me out with this please? I know my computer can handle the enb, and I downloaded everything correctly, so now Im at a loss as to how to get passed this permission issue. Thankyou.

This is interesting. I had this issue some time ago, but it wasn't the 'file' itself. It was an OS issues, in this case Win 7 / 64 bit. You don't mention what OS you are using and that might help. In any case, I'm going to guess that if you try in install anything requiring an 'installer' you are going to get a flag saying you don't have permission to install. I would suggest looking up 'not able to install programs without permission' or something like that for windows, MS has a quick fix that will correct this issue. Turns out that sometimes an update corrupts this feature and needs to be fixed. I could not install anything even using 'run as administrator'.

The other option is to manually install the ENB which I always do and that isn't difficult to do and that will avoid using the 'installer' that comes with that ENB.

Anyway, from what you describe, this sounds like a 'Windows' issue so I'd try looking there and not at the ENB itself. Hope this helps, just throwing it out there.

Thankyou, i do appreciate the feeback. It must be some kind of windows issue. I found a fix for it but I did not have the prompt and boxes to check that were meant to be there, which is odd. I have all my hidden files ticked to be seen and altered. I am using Windows 10 on 64 bit. Ill try and install manually, Ive just never done that before. Ill give it a shot though. Thankyou!
