Mktavish
Moving the Installation worked! It took me several hours of painstaking work, but I did it! Not without you're help, for which I am grateful. No, really, sincerely, thank you. May the internet gods smile upon us this day! So for people with the same problem, let me suggest this: Make sure any game you have is installed anywhere but the program files. Cause that might be the issue. Also, Drugs are bad, M'kay.Man, My FNV is installed in the D: Drive, everything was going okay then I just reinstalled some mods cuz I accidentally deleted their files and now I'm with the same problem The point of this thread was about where is Steam installed , cuz of course NV is installed under that in / Steam Apps / Common / Fallout New Vegas ... Your description sounds like you have a completely different problem ... might want to start a new thread. BUT !!! Explain everything you can think of ... don't spare any details about what you did or happened ... cuz one of them may well help to find the fix ;)

dubiousintent
Aside from the mistake of installing to the default "C:\Program Files" folder tree, the other primary reason for getting hung at the opening menus after having deleted some mod files and attempting to repair them (as pointed out in my second reply) is "Missing Masters". Otherwise, please start a new thread and provide the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. Details matter and things that may seem "the same" to you may not be to us. -Dubious-
