NMM error when trying to download a couple mods

When I try to download these two mods (others work fine) with NMM I get this error:

 

Nexus Mod Manager is not set up to work with Skyrim. If Skyrim is installed, rescan for installed games from the Change Game toolbar item.

 

These are the two mods

 

NobleSkyrimMod HD-2K

I have tried reinstalling the game and NMM and rescanning.

 

I have tried so long to make it work, please help :sad:

Oldrim mods don't have the functionality to download with a mod manager profile configured for SSE. Unless you have Oldrim installed as well, then you can't download mods this way. Download these mods manually, then when in NMM choose the Add from File option in the toolbar.

Oh ok. But is installing manually complicated? I was reading somewhere that I need to make new files and stuff for the data for the aMidianBorn Book of Silence mod.

If I download Mod Organizer will that work or still gotta do those manually?

What Martimius is saying is to download manually, then using the Green Plus ( + ) sign in top left corner, add the mod that way.
