As soon as it loads. I don't even get chance to choose data files. :< Verify your file cache. If that doesn't fix it, re-install DirectX How do I reinstall DirectX? Rapsynrev Posted February 7, 2012 Share Posted February 7, 2012 (edited) When I try to load I get an error message that reads "Renderer creation failed with error:" and then it crashes. Any ideas what could be causing this? This is prior to loading anything, as the initial window is popping up. Edit: I tried reinstalling DirectX, but to no avail. I also noticed that while the window with the cryptic error message is appearing, it says "Initializing Windows" in the bottom of the window that loaded.
