skill trees in CS?

Thought I would just poke around the CS, but was delighted to see that even a beginner as I could find and edit the spell variables.

What I really would like to do though, is to make the destruction spells damage "scale" with your destruction level. I'm having some trouble to find the variables for the skill trees though. I found the perks, but that doesnt seem to help me.

Also... since I'm a complete noob when it comes to modding bethesda games... how do I export my changes as a working mod?

FIle > save > file name, then go into steam into the skyrim folder hit data find the name copy it to another location and zip it into a zip file then go to nexus and upload a file.

Thanks and kudos :)

Only my first question left then :P

I actually did exactly that, spell scaling along with some other things, so I'm fairly familiar with what you're trying to do. Not sure what you mean specifically by skill trees, you mean the perk trees? Those are on the main toolbar, with file, edit, etc..., Character > Actor Values, click the skill then the Perk Tree button. If that not what you're looking for let me know I should be able to give you a hand.

oh, thanks, i was looking for such a mod but couldnt find it

Seems your mod actually fixes a lot of things I was planning to do... Only thing I wanted to do that I cant see in your description is extending the level limit for the illusion spells. Any chance you added that too? (just asking before I'm uploading something that isnt needed. I have found some mods that tried to do that before the CK was released, but the mana cost also increased a lot as a consequence).

Also another question: It seems the CK created a .csm file as well besides the .esp.... so... what is an .csm file? (I cant find an answer with my google skills...)

Maybe something like illusion spells scaling up a bit with skill level like I have destruction doing? That wouldn't be too hard and it shouldn't increase the cost either. I might not get anything out tonight but I can probably get it done by the end of the week.

As for .csm my guess is it's like .bsa's for modders but I could be wrong.
