If you look at the responses, you will see that the majority of people who replied posted both the gender of their character and their own gender. I understood what the thread was asking, I was simply providing an alternative source for answers because no one was answering the question in this thread (and still have not).

The players of computer games are concentrated in two age/gender groups. Males 11-25 make up the majority by a huge margin. Females 30-45 make up a large subsection. Other players fall into exceptions, like me.

That's generally true, except for MMOs. Those are special. While us guys prefer desolate solitude, women are more socially active. As such, they dominate the MMOs, because there's only two things to do in an MMO: grind hard to get to those high levels, or hang out and chat...with swords. As most people know, those in the first category are psychotic freaks, and those in the second category are female. Who else would just sit around and talk for hours?

 

 

I'm also 99.999999% positive that TESNexus doesn't have any transgendered people, and I'm 100% sure that if there are transgenders, they aren't going to come out and advertise that fact, even in an anonymous poll.

Anyhow, this is gonna be a biased survey, because with the exception of Kung Fu Belly Dancer (who I think is on Maternal leave) I don't know any females on the forums. There may be many females in the community, but the chat areas are mostly male.

There is at least one transgender person that I know of, but I won't post their name in public. Just in case. ;)
