Did you make this FOR Skyrim or is that a side thought?

Either way that would be amazing, not sure about in Skyrim, but I remember similar ideas in Oblivion that didn't turn out too good.

I wish you luck though and do look forward to it! Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me can help you out :)

Yea for Skyrim why not? Always wanted to have a musket in Oblivion but never saw one that was good (will probably make a pirate style pistol after, if everything goes well)

First off why not release a version that isn't animated to see if it gets popular? If it does people may offer to animate it for you. Second, when you do put it in have it use the Mehrunes Razor enchantment and less powerful than a daedric weapon so it isn't overpowered.

Good luck with this mod though, looking forward to it ^^

Dawnguard is going to have crossbows; perhaps they will provide suitable animations.

Model looks great, but judging by the smoothness of those spheres and curves I'd say the polycount is orders of magnitude above an acceptable amount. I recommend you re-topologise and try to get under 3000 triangles. You can then use this model to bake normals and keep this level of detail.

yeah.. using the crossbow animations would probably be the fastest and easiest, so please do it! I want a rifle! model looks great, though to make it more musket looking the wood part should probably end about an inch or two from the end of the barrel Edited by darkofan
