  1. In response to post #66953826. According to their website, getting the vanilla game out is the priority, and after that they might work on the DLCs.
  2. Try downloading LOOT separately and run that, see if it gives you the same error. It's a libgit2 error so it should be the same thing, but worth trying. I think for all of the libgit2 errors it means it's a problem with your local configuration. Do you not have a %userprofile%/.gitconfig file that might be interfering like I did?
  3. I'm having the same issue, and I also don't have a config file or even a .git folder in that location to begin with. Reinstalling Vortex on top of my current installation doesn't appear to create that folder. (I do have hidden folders set to shown) I'm getting three errors: Failed to load master-/userlist Failed to update masterlist Failed to load master-/userlist Downloading the masterlist manually from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/loot/skyrimse/v0.13/masterlist.yaml lets it load, but it still fails to update with the middle error above. I'm running Windows 10 Pro x64 build 1809, fully updated. EDIT: Figured it out, apparently libgit2 reads the .gitconfig file in %userprofile%, which I had configured for the github for windows client. Perhaps you have a similar problem? @AyeeLmeow
  4. I made an issue here: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/issues/1576 Also I found this node.js library that could be useful in implementing this feature, which I mentioned in a comment on the issue: https://github.com/skitsanos/schtasks
  5. Would be nice to have this, even as an advanced feature since I suppose it could be considered a security flaw. Applications such as Borderless Gaming and CCleaner use this functionality to gain admin access without prompting the user after the initial prompt for permission to create the task. Borderless Gaming's purpose is for running at startup, but CCleaner creates a task that only runs on demand, which then runs the main exe as admin with the required arguments. A similar approach could be used here.
  6. You're using an ancient version of SMAPI that's not compatible with the latest version of the game. Update SMAPI. For Stardew 1.3.28 you want SMAPI 2.7
  7. I actually didn't notice Vortex was out when I made that post, and Vortex does support Kingdom Come already, but sadly none of the mods available have set their files to be downloadable by NMM/Vortex so you have to install manually and it doesn't seem to support version checking even if you input the mod ids and version manually so it's a bit useless until mod developers enable the option on the files. Unless the option isn't available for Kingdom Come's nexusmods page yet...
  8. I'd like to see NMM support just for the sake of being able to keep track of mod updates
  9. Yes, sadly. If they integrated it into the Steam Client and checked MD5 instead of Dates it would be perfect IMO. That and they need to make the Workshop easier to access from Steam Client, but that's purely aesthetics :P
  10. Did you make this FOR Skyrim or is that a side thought? Either way that would be amazing, not sure about in Skyrim, but I remember similar ideas in Oblivion that didn't turn out too good. I wish you luck though and do look forward to it! Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me can help you out :)
  11. In the end I have hopes for this project. It will most likely ALWAYS require users to be cautious about the load order due to the automatic updating, but for certain mods that would be fabulous. However I do think it should be implemented into the Steam Client, like Skyrim Updates work, instead of in the Skyrim Launcher. There should be a way to enable/disable automatic updating on individual mods and it should let you manually update the mods with auto updating disabled. Not sure which file you're referring to, but if there was/is such a file that would be a godsend!
  12. I'm going to get right into it, Steam Workshop for Skyrim is more or less broken right now. Skyrim (and pretty much every Bethesda game) judges it's mod load order via the date of the esp/esm file. We reorder mods in order to ensure compatibility by changing the mod file's date. When you do this Steam Workshop detects the file was modified and downloads the latest version over your changed-date file, thus adding it to the end of the load order. Unless you bypass the launcher completely by using SKSE you will most likely (if not now, in the future) run into load order problems. I hope Steam/Bethesda fixes this. Would be nice if they maybe compared MD5s instead of If File is older than latest. If anyone would post this on BethSoft forum too that would be great, bring it to the attention of Bethesda. (Sorry if this has been brought to attention before, I just noticed this myself and saw no other thread on the topic.)
  13. The file you downloaded is just the original EXE patched with LAA, not the new version.
  14. You can't modify the EXE AT ALL because of Steam's CEG. Someone claims New Vegas's 4GB Patch method of making the game large address aware works with this protection, but I converted it to Skyrim myself and it gives the same error. It's possibly (maybe even probable) that I simply did it wrong, but I'm giving my input just in case I didn't.
