Okay, for the past 2 weeks I've (1.) been introduced too, (2.) really got into, (3.) got 7 albums of, and (4.) fallen in love with NIRVANA!!!!!!! I can't believe I went so long without really listening. Ah, good Lord! So far I have all of their albums except for Live From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah, the box set With the Lights out, and the bootlegs. My favorite album is In Utero. Anyone else here a Nirvana fan?

I was a big Nirvana fan in my teeny years, not that it's been that long. I always thought Cobain had a very underrated voice, but they played messily on stage when I saw them live. Maybe being offbeat was part of the whole Grunge thing. *shrug*

But yes, In Utero is also one of my favourite albums by them. I also enjoyed the Unplugged album because they performed a much tighter set and focused on other songs besides their singles.

I like my coffee black just like my metal! Nifelheim and Naer-Mataron are two of my favourites.

I dont really care for mainstream metal. Newer bands sound like alternative or punk. :yucky:

Yeah! Another black metal fan  I've never heard about these two bands, I will search something.

Yeah, I have Unplugged in New York. Kurt's voice also wasn't as appreciated as it should of. I never saw them live, though, I wasn't around yet. Now I never can.... :(

I prefer all kinds of metal. My favourites:

- Heavy metal (Manowar, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Helloween, Teräsbetoni, Gamma Ray...)

- Viking Metal (Korpiklaani, Runic, Ensiferum, Bathory, Thyrfing, Fimbulthier, Amon Amarth, Folkearth...)

- Black Metal (Dimmu Borgir, Burzum, Emperor, Noumena, Asmodeus, Immortal...)

- Others (Type 0 Negative, Moonspell, My Dying Bride...)

So, I like other bands, but I wouldn't fill all the topic!

I never thought that these three, especially Teräsbetoni, could ever be known abroad. That Teräsbetoni started off as a joke and spreaded through internet first but then they've been trying to get more serious with their band. How have you found it anyway?

So, you like viking metal or "folk metal". Have you listened Falkenbach? I think that's the best folk metal band I've heard. My other favorites include Disturbed, Mastodon, Tool, Lacuna Coil, Amorphis, Anathema, Within Temptation, Evanescense, Sentenced, Nazareth and some other I don't remember right now.

Hiphop is something I wouldn't touch with a long stick and also the most extreme forms of metal music like death, black, trash..etc, are sommething I hate.

Just for liking Disturbed and Evanescence I am giving you a kudo!!

I also agree on the fact that HipHop is so bad there isn't a word to describe how bad it is but I disagree on the fact that you don't like death, black, trash metal are something bad. There the best forms of metal!!
