nickyboy1
I've recently performed a clean install of both Fallout 3 and NV. I'm well aware of the issues with modern versions of windows and all of the basic fixes associated with them. (I've been going through these forums and others for help for a couple of weeks now)However my problem is one that I've never read in forums or on bugs lists. The game loads just fine right until I click new game, the game loads, plays the opening movie and then everything slows down to 1 FPS - no exaggeration. The game still plays - no crashes at all, just 1 FPS.I've performed multiple clean installs, installed many common fixes, even mods that purport to fix things. I've fallen back to older GPU drivers, not one works. I've just done the latest clean install and am now hopelessly stuck. I have no clue where to go from here.Any help, even a push in the right direction would be helpful. Thanks! âAdditionally it's just these two Bethesda games, Skyrim and oblivion work just fine. Deleted1205226User
Have a look at FNV General Mod Use advice Even though it is directed toward FNV most of its advices will apply to FO3. Read the "Do NOT accept the default install location" paragraph more particularly.
