Where can I find a list of forbidden mods?

Looking at the available mods, I'm a little disappointed by the lack of Overwatch and Starcraft mods, but suspect that their lack of availability is due to copyright reasons or simply because Nexusmods forbids them. All you can find for Overwatch are some tattoos or Pipboy textures but no weapons, and Starcraft mods only include the Ghost Armor and Kerrigan Bodysuit.

 

What sorts of rules surround this sort of thing? I'm guessing that one cannot use assets from those games to make mods, but is it forbidden to make weapons from scratch that are based off Overwatch/Starcraft material?

no , it's obviously not forbidden to make content based on such franchizes

it's probably that no one really wants to make such items

 

the thing that is forbidden , as you've guessed , is using assets from games , at least without permission (which some companies do provide)

 

if you can't find such mods , it's probably because no one really made them

so you can try to make them yourself , or you can try looking in other places

 

also , as a side note , you may want to reconsider using titles like you did

it could very well get you banned , if you aren't careful , or at the very least give a very different and negative impression , which I would assume you don't want

They are. As WastelandAssassin said, if there aren't any, it's because no one wanted them enough to make them.

 

When I read the thread title, the first thing I thought was "oh great, someone else who got lost on their way to LoversLab." Because in general, those are the two things that'll get a mod banned on Nexus: ripping off someone else's work, and explicit sex.
