Lisnpuppy
Hello. I am not sure what the rules are for the voice acting for mods. However I happen to have a really neat, weird voice (due to about 50 operations on my vocal cords)Kinda Gollem, ET like. If someone needs a bizarre voice and is willing to teach me I would love to participate! Thanks!
DarkWarrior45
It is great that you are offering this kind of service, as voice actors are hard to come by. If you want to learn, then check this site out: http://www.awn.com/mag/issue2.1/articles/bevilacqua2.1.html also when recording, choice of microphone and mic placement is everythin in regards to the quality of the recording. Then after that it's how good your sound tech is, if you have one. This is just advice from the sound tech within me. EDIT: BTW, most quest mod authors are always looking for voice actors. So you're never going to be out of a job in the modding community. I would also cross thread this into the official forums if you're really serious. I am really serious but I have never tried to do anything like this before. I am no trained actor but I have this kicking voice--like imagine like ET and Esma (from Emperors New Grove) or something like that. Really raspy. Ican do a dead on ET, Gollum, Cartman and Kathleen Turner among others. I just have a bit of an accent. I will check out that web site.If I get some kinda of microphone/recording thing (not too expensive) is there a way to like post my voice somewhere.I am sorry but I am a fetal noob! Circuitous
Voice acting for mods would be hilarious, but there's always the issue of really bad writing. Lisn would probably make a killer Khajiit or Argonian though. Or Morrowind-style Dunmer?

Morrowind-style Dumner is what really should have been in Oblivion already, and I recken that if you can pull a Morrowind-style dumner voice off, then you'll be in high demand. What you want once you get your microphone is to download a utility such as Audacity. I personally use Audacity to record stuff for my church, and have found that it's extremely useful. It's perfect for beginner because it is very simply to use. And really you don't need anything more than that unless you have a mixer setup. Audacity will also export to a wav file, or with the right encoder, MP3. EDIT: Here's the link to Audacity.
