Aikoji
Hello everyone! So I happened to find some screenshots of an armor thats either not on Nexus or seems to be abandoned. I was wondering if anyone would be able to make the Haven Trooper FROG armor. Someone apparently has already ported it, I could get the files if needed and it has a version from New Vegas in-case that can be ported. https://ibb.co/ezNawQhttps://ibb.co/n6EYi5https://ibb.co/fKq635https://ibb.co/i2ecAk
iXenite
Ported content, as in stuff ripped directly from another games files, are not permitted on the Nexus as they are illegal conversions of copyrighted assets. Unless of course the Mod Author has been given permission by the copyright holder to port it, or, the copyright holder has a general stance that mods using their assets are permitted. I am not aware of Konami ever giving permission to port assets from Metal Gear Solid 4, and I doubt they ever would considering it is a PlayStation exclusive anyway. I'm not even sure how porting console stuff to PC would work, but it would be illegal regardless.

Aikoji
Konami has actually given permission like CDPR about using their assets in mods actually, which is why there are MGS mods on Nexus already. :)

jjb54
If there is " Permission " - one better make sure the FINE PRINT is understood and the ToA - LoU. ToG - Term of Agreement LoU - License of Use. Make sure, 100% sure the permission is posted with Authorized Link to verify - validate. .. Jj ... I've seen good people burned, because they did not read the " fine print " - and as Judges are fond of saying: " Ignorance of the law, is not a valid defense.
