bpjh20 Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Any word on this? I played Oblivion as an archer and relied on being able to heal between arrow blows. It makes complete sense that if you're holding your bow in your right hand and not using your left to nock an arrow, your left hand is available and therefore able to cast a spell. Even if you want to throw a fireball. I've been playing this game since the day it came out, and I seriously love it - - by why the heck did they change that!!!!! It really handicaps the way I can play. Its been 4 months since this post was last updated, have any mods that allow that been created yet? happy to be playing but sad that I cant play the way I want to...
LightMikeSanders Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 why not damage the weapon when you use a spell with the hand that its equipped with? For example using flames with the right hand while wielding a sword whould reduce the overall damage of the sowrd per second.
Dudeman325 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Well, it doesn't change anything in the way of spells, but at least Dual Wield Parrying allows you to block while dual wielding or using a 1-hander and a spell. It may not do everything that people in this thread want, but its something.
