Having issues creating a character!

Hello guys.

 

I started playing Skyrim a few years back on my PS3, and since my PC was pretty lame; it could only run Skyrim at like 20-ish FPS... I only used it to mess around with mods and explore what they could offer. Obviously, I spent a lot of hours trying out a few character combinations with the RaceMenu... and I actually ended up creating a character that I've kept for two years now.

 

This is my sixth time re-installing Skyrim. I now have a much better computer and can finally play it properly. I had old save games and my old character's face preset... but something's wrong. I can't seem to get her right. Doesn't matter what Body Type, Skin textures or face textures I use, there's always an issue! Either her face looks incredibly off or the skin of her head and neck doesn't match the body! I don't know what to do. I tried to a few tweaks, but she still looks somewhat off.

 

That is why I'm here. I doubt this will go anywhere, but I was wondering if anyone could try their luck with my character's preset and attempt to improve it somewhat? Please, this means a lot to me and I wish to continue playing with her. I had already so many plans set... it just breaks the immersion and the joy seeing her looking so ugly and offputting now. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

 

A few important details: The main body type that I used is CBBE. I also used Fair Skin Complexion, which combined with the Adorable Face mod actually produced a character of my liking. Instead of using the regular Skeleton, I'm using a different one, but I'm unsure if this has an impact to the face?

Do you use racemenu? If the answer is yes you can add a mask to the base of the neck to reduce the neck seam. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, please don't hesitate to ask....How this works is a bit more complicated to explain....so if you're really interested I can make a few screenshots and explain how it works)

If I may give you an advice. I''d switch to using UNP instead of CBBE. The CBBE slider sets are available in Bodyslide so you will not have to change the body shape. Just an advice...your choice though of course.

 

I would also like to mention that I'm pretty sure you graphics on your new machine are better that on the old one, right? So you have to keep in mind that you can see your old character in more detail, possibly like you never seen before.
