Question ba2 load for INI and ba2 file size

A question, if I put this mod in a ba2 and install it in the INI of fallout 4 like this:

[Archive]
SResourceIndexFileList = Fallout4 - Fallout4 - Textures2.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures3.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures4.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures5.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures6.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures7.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures9.ba2, GraFix - Textures.ba2

Mods installed with NMM have priority over this?

Othe question:

Is there a size limit on .ba2 files? Could you use an 8gb ba2 or would the load times be affected?

P.S: It would be easier to create a .esp for my ba2, but I'm not sure how to do it xD

to create a blank .esp for your Ba2 just open the Ckit and load the FO4.esm once loaded just save and name the new .esp exactly what you've named your Ba2.

Example

MyMod.esp,

MyMod - Textures.ba2.

with the blank .esp active the game will read your ba2.

I do think there is a size limit on ba2's but I don't know what it is. This is probably why beth has so many textures.ba2's in the vanilla game.

Perfect, just use creation kit to do just what it tells me, with this I confirm that it is so hehe
I have a .ba2 file of more than 5gb, will I have to separate it into 3 ba2 files then? If there is a size limit there is no remedy, it would have to confirm what the limit is.
Thanks for your help!

I'm really not sure if you'll need to break it up or not. I suggest just testing it and if you get lag or textures not loading properly then start to make more then one.

I do not notice anything strange, unless someone says otherwise, a ba2 of almost 6GB loads perfectly, it's the GraFix mod, and by itself increases loading times, but packaged in ba2 file times are considerably reduced.
Thanks for the help ^^
