tomomi1922
I came back to fallout 4 after 5-6 months away. Needless to say it took quite a bit of relearning and updating all the mods. But there is just this old mod I couldn't find a trace of: a naughty mod converting many raiders (both male and female) with super skimpy (and genital revealing) outfits. 2 problems: it has a lot of missing texture and misdirecting material files so my raiders appear pink; and I didn't install via NMM so it can't be as easy as uninstalling. I need to fix it. But I need to at least find the name of it so I can search and fix my raiders back to normal. The HD texture replacer mods don't seem to help. If anyone remember what that mod was, please give me a hint. It should be deleted from Nexus already. And I wished i uninstalled it before I left Fallout. Greslin
I'm going to assume that these textures aren't buried in a BA2 somewhere, because if so, you'd have found them already. Look in Data/textures/armor, and then for directories named things like "raider##" or "raiderunderarmor". Find the offending DDS textures and delete them. Then restart the game. It should revert back to vanilla textures. If not, you may have to wait for a raider respawn for the images to cycle out of your save game file. But I imagine it should revert right away. If that doesn't work, look in Data/meshes/armor, in those same "raider" directories, for the mesh files that went with those textures. Delete them. If all you want is to just revert all raider armor back to default, just delete anything in those two directories that references "raider". Again, it'll revert to the vanilla textures in the game BA2 archives. You can then go back and install any new textures you want. If none of that works, you probably have a BA2 archive buried somewhere in your load order. Go over everything you have installed and use BA Extractor to check each BA2 contents. Find the one that has the textures and remove that mod. Edited April 26, 2017 by Greslin
tomomi1922
Yes I am really going to have to do that. Thanks for the pointer. I may have to track down the material and mesh files too (because otherwise the texture replacement would have worked). Nope, I am 100% sure it is not in BA2 level. Must be something I installed manually.
