troy242621
EDIT: Tried posting this into the CS forum, must've had this tab open too and clicked the wrong one. Sorry!I've had the CS all of one day thus far, please bear with me. I have a layman's understanding of scripting, and wanted to create a Morag Tong guild in Oblivion. To work around my lack of scripting knowledge, I simply made the grandmaster a merchant, then had him sell writs, which are in turn stored in a leveled list so he offers a random and respawning generic target every three days. The problem is, I then tried to make his schedule more dynamic; rather than always sitting at his desk, I decided he should stop offering his services as of 8:00, then go get some food, then read a book, then go to bed. The problem comes at 8:00; he just gets up from his desk and stands still. If I talk to him, he doesn't offer services, but he then follows me around incessantly, telling me to leave. If I disable then re-enable him, he completes the rest of his schedule properly, but it breaks at 8:00 every day and he just stands in place. How do I get this guy to stop trying to kick me out? I know it must be possible, because guild merchants often cease services at some point and they never try kicking me out of the guild halls. kingtitan
Hey, we all started somewhere!Would you mind sending me a copy of your .esp file? I have a feeling that this is a pretty simple issue to solve, but I'd like to see what parameters you are using to determine the NPC's behavior. Sometimes NPC's can be outright finicky to get them to do exactly what you want, but this sounds like a consistent issue that should be easily fixable. My guess would be that the problem lies somewhere in the faction settings/cell ownership.
Oblivionaddicted
Did you the must complete box. The skip fallout behavior might have something to do with it also. Did you properly set the target?
