case vs calibrx --- you install only the one your current mods NEED

WMX vs WME - which one does what you want better

if you are using shrapnel, you MUST use calibr

Well my mod Spice of Life - Variety Armor and Clothing does not do the same thing as Fallout New Vegas Redesigned 2 or NVCE - New Vegas Character Expansions, those two edit faces mine adds brand new clothing it does not edit faces. Also my mod requires Diversified Mojave Wasteland to work lol.

OOhh thanks. I thought whatever changed the npcs would be imcompatible. Definetely using your mod then.

Fwiw,,,

I was never sure if MTUI changed the health/weapon condition etc displays on the HUD to a smaller font, as opposed to just changing dialogue boxes, so stuck with DarNified. Maybe the MTUI thread answers that Q, but I'm both too lazy and happy enough with DarNified never to have checked that out.

I tried Project Reality for awhile, but found that it made my game quite stuttery (yes, I run both 4GB Enabler and NVSR) so switched to Nevada Skies (URWLified) and it didn't affect performance at all. I run a ton of hi-res textures so maybe PR just put things over the top for my system to handle, but I noticed in Gophers video comparison of the 2 he also mentioned that PR affected performance more. Personally, I also like the incredible colours in URWLified NS better than the seemingly less-colourful/more apocalyptical graphics (?) in Project Reality. Really beautiful stuff.

Theres a video? Where can i find it?

Ive seen his tutorials but there wasnt a comparison.

updates if anyone is curious:

1- Decide to go with Fallout New Vegas Redesigned - Because it uses custom textures/colors etc, the downside is project mikoto kinda of overwrites most of it. Nvce seems to change the npcs using the game textures, the next time i might use it to go along project mikoto.

and

Spice of Life - Variety Armor and Clothing / Diversified Mojave Wasteland - Since they can work together. I really wanted some variation to the world.

2- Weapon Mods Expanded - WMX - I decided to use this one because of the melee weapon mods, i'm really stingy with ammo and money so im always pummeling enemies with my fists. I'll use WME next time.

3- CASE - Adds over 270 Ammo Types - Discovered theres a patch for shrapnel (dont know hoe i didnt see it the first time) and it seems to add a lot more ammo types than caliber.

4- Dunno yet. Im trying to find the video

5- Monster Mod - I wanted to use both but so far im still unsure if they work well together. Anyway, from the pictures i liked monster mod better.

6- DarNified UI NV I used darnfied for Fallout 3 and had no complaints, will use it again.

in his review of PR, he makes quite a few comparisons between the 2. His comments on performance is around 6:20. Though he mentions that NS's rain diminishes performance, I've never noticed that.

Thanks.

Jesus christ, The mod Clinic series should be in the Top 100 lists. It answered a lot of my questions.

4- Using FNV Project Reality MkI so the feeling is not so far from the original game. Im using Mojave nights and Dusts Storm Retex also.
