bazinga313
So I am trying to upload a mod to bethesda and it uses an esm. How do I upload a mod that uses an esm and not just a simple plugin?
chucksteel
I assume you have an .esm with dependent .esp's? Example would be in my NVIneriors I had a core master .esm and then a bunch of .esp's people could choose from. You unfortunetly can't upload them together on Beth.net You'll have to upload the master .esm as one mod then the dependent .esp as another. Make sure you set the requirement to your .esm. If your mod is only a .esm I do know it's possible but I haven't done it myself.
bazinga313
well the mod i want to upload is just the .esm master file. How would I go about uploading that? I've tried just uploading the file but it acts as if nothing is loaded i think because i can't make an .esm a active file.
chucksteel
You've checked the box and loaded it? I thought when you had the file loaded and logged into beth.net to upload it would ask if you want to upload as an .esm. I could be wrong I haven't done this myself. Also is your Ckit fully up to date?
