make junk useful

With the level of junk in the game, and my inability to create mods yet... Leaves me with requesting a mod makers help. The blowtorch in fallout 4 is well, junk. what if you could attach a bottle of flamer fluid to it, allowing you a 5 second burst of +50 damage before needing to replace the bottle ( 50 fuel - like 50 bullet count ) using 10 fuel per second. You can scrap it if you want, sell it for added value, or use it in those life or death circumstances. Hell throw the loaded torch on the ground and shoot it - making a grenade style boom that will surely impress your friends.

 

Any takers? There are many more ideas where that came from, so COME ON AND ASK ME DAMN IT.

Well there is this mod, that takes Deathclaw hands - Blowtorches and such and allows you to craft the, Dealthclaw Gauntlet - and Flamethrowers, plus a few others.

 

Not sure it's what you were looking for, but does take those items and lets you craft weapons - with the right perks.

I might give it a try sometime in the near future (as in 2 weeks from now or more), But don't get your hopes way too up, I've only just managed to create my first melee weapon and my first grenade and firearms are more complicated. (I have no idea, how to do animations for one, like reloading the blowtorch.) Except shooting the torch for a nice show of flames - I can already make junk stuff go boom. :))

Anyway go ahead then, get some more ideas out here from where this came from. Maybe there is something I know I can do, or maybe someone else will join the conversation as well.
