  1. Like everyone else on here that is not able to create their own mods, I would love it if someone could put this together, Im sure there are others that would appreciate this as a coupler to survival mode. A mod that affects health, perception, endurance, charisma , okay basically everything from circumstance to circumstance, It's +32c / +89F outside in the commonwealth and you're wondering around in Heavy combat armor... Your endurance and everything may be affected by such a scenario ( a temp reading on the HUD would be needed and awesome at the same time ) as would walking around in a Raider harness at night, while its raining, in January... it maybe a little cold. Wearing soaking wet clothing can get you ill ( depending on weather conditions ) the same way wearing heavy warm clothing on a hot day can eventually knock you down from heat stroke. But can be managed by changing outfits, going for a dunk in the water ( to warm out ) or hanging out by a fire or inside a building that should be warmer than outside ( if its missing a roof and 2 walls wouldn't help ) . Left untreated both conditions can lead to extended health problems whereas even visually there could be a blur on the screen or a color change to represent the effects of untreated circumstantial illness and prolonged discomfort.
  2. Thank you I appreciate that. I will edit the title, you're correct it could be misconstrued as blame rather than frustration.
  3. Im looking for people that may have had this issue or that may have an idea of how to fix it. Thanks for your helpful comment though.
  4. I'M NOT SURE HOW TO EDIT THE TITLE - IT WAS CREATED OUT OF FRUSTRATION NOT ABSOLUTE BLAME. IM FRUSTRATED BECAUSE I FEEL DEPRIVED OF THE CONTENT ON HERE THAT I LOVE & IT NOT FUNCTIONING ANYMORE. It's not just me, it's not just Fallout 4. Speaking with friends and people I work with, mods for 7 out of 10 people seem to have stopped working. Nearly all mods. Simple mods even like Sim Settlements ( which I was a mod for until recently so no, this is not an idiot user problem ). I've posted this thread before and it was taken down so hopefully this time it stays in one place and an answer can be given to me. I've downloaded some of the FAILED nexus versions from Bethnet and surprise, they work just fine. None of these issues were happening until the Nexus switched to the new version we see now, so I doubt it's a coincidence. I dont know the software behind what could be causing the issues, Im using the most recent version of Fallout 4 with all DLC's. Ive uninstalled the game twice, Ive uninstalled NMM and reinstalled it. Ive uninstalled all mods from Beth.net Some mods do work, dont get me wrong. Like scrap everything from the Nexus site works, as do a few other weapon mods but the massive majority do not. It's not a load order issue, it's not a texture issue. THEY JUST DO NOT FUNCTION. Anyone else have a similar story or a potential answer?
  5. I've been hoping someone creates a mod just like this.
  6. Sorry, Someone help us! The Moooooooooooo of 5 Brahman with 2 heads drives a man to kill them... Kill them all & now I've killed all the traders too. Someone save the traders, shut the fu(king Brahman up.
  7. There are many add-on's for trade caravans, like escort missions or being sent out to uncover who's robbing traders ( mission mods ) but one vast improvement is fixing the issue with Brahman not being able to lay down in the caravan tent. The same movements and sounds is enough to drive a person crazy, if you have 4 tents & they are all used. INSANE damn it, insane I said.
  8. This should be in the mod request form boys and girls, before someone gets in trouble for bumping and for putting something in the wrong place.
  9. Looks like someone once a year shows up to say how much the Brahman piss every one off.
  10. I thought it would be a cool sticky for all talk on Mechanized creatures I know this is NOT LORE, but... To have the ability to create battle droids from Star wars.... Well sir, Id buy that for a dollar.
  11. Id like to see the Wild punga fruit from Point lookout too.
  12. YES YES YES. The legion helmets can be made from re purposed super mutant bladed helmets and even re textured Diamond City guard helmets ( foot ball helmets ) I want this badly. I want a game where all of fallout's creations convene & the common wealth is big enough for it.
  13. Awesome, Im hoping you can produce something long lasting my friend. Id like to work with you if your open to an idea guy. :)
  14. Is this scenario even possible? You come across a lone Raider, he's battling with a deathclaw. You also start shooting the deathclaw. Now the deathclaws dead thanks to your combine fire, you can't very well shoot each other. You and this Raider are no longer hostile to each other. If you were to come across this Raider in the Wasteland that non hostility pact would still exist. However that raider can break the non-aggression pact, based on your special stats and perks. High enough charisma & with correct perks could even have him turn on his fellow Raiders in a confrontation, chose to stay out of the fight or turn on you. You could even turn him into a settler or follower depending on him turning on his own.
  15. Good idea, & you could even equip it on the end of a rifle.
  16. With the level of junk in the game, and my inability to create mods yet... Leaves me with requesting a mod makers help. The blowtorch in fallout 4 is well, junk. what if you could attach a bottle of flamer fluid to it, allowing you a 5 second burst of +50 damage before needing to replace the bottle ( 50 fuel - like 50 bullet count ) using 10 fuel per second. You can scrap it if you want, sell it for added value, or use it in those life or death circumstances. Hell throw the loaded torch on the ground and shoot it - making a grenade style boom that will surely impress your friends. Any takers? There are many more ideas where that came from, so COME ON AND ASK ME DAMN IT.
  17. Im looking to find a group or individual to work with writing scripts & back stories for mods & quest mods alike. I know I likely get no real reply's to this, but if your looking to create in depth mod quests that will be loved by the fallout community or just a mod that allows for Vanilla or custom items to have actual use... Id love to work with you.
  18. I realize my last suggestions didn't catch any traction but I've been thinking about expanded melee attacks also. Like with specific firearm mods, you can switch scopes & under barrel attachments with hot keys, so I thought about using that feature to make this plausible rather then a power attack option ( which would remove the ability to throw something during battle ). Switching hot keys during a hand to hand would be a pain in the ass so the power attack might be the best choice anyways. A hot key that would alter your throwing weapon to a hand to hand power attack at the same time & back to throwing once you've selected a fire arm again would be ideal. Unarmed power attack becomes a head butt, or a kick ( which would be devastating in power armor ). I picture an engagement taking place on the edge of a pit mine and the power armor kick sending a raider flying down into the pit bouncing off things the whole way down.... a faint " f*#@ you, " can be heard before the first thump or ting sound as they ricochet off crap. A hush falls over the pit & then a " Is that Marty? What the hell man ? Keep your eyes open for someone that doesn't belong here " . A second voice chimes in, " He probably did to much Jet & thought he could fly, the stupid jack ass. None the less. ALRIGHT KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN IN CASE MARTY WASN'T AN ASSHOLE WHO CANT HOLD HIS CHEMS " Followed by a pit wide laughing. A second launching of a Raider to his demise would probably end the laughing. But I've gotten to far from the original idea so ignore the pit banter. lol .
  19. 2 ideas that at first do not seem connected. I posted this on Beth Net but I know the most talented mod creators are here and I use both anyway. 1.) Broken Glass. We can break glass like in reality. Noise created by stepping on broken glass can give away locations of someone trying to be sneaky and can give away our locations. Stealth suite and Night Kin can be noticed thanks to this. Punch through a window Jack Reacher style, shoot through a dirty window while know one on the out side can really see you, allowing you to get the drop on them. An explosion on one side of a window will send glass shards the opposite direction which can be deadly & a new tactic. Gas weapons like nerve agents are more potent in a building that it cant escape from ( window ) but tossed through a window will allow the tosser to remain relatively unharmed in comparison. 2.) Real Reactions In Sky Rim, I remember the fun I had sneaking up above a camp of ass holes with a bow and firing off a bolt into a tree. Most would go to investigate leaving one or two behind which I would dispatch quietly with said Bow. When their palls returned to find the 2 down, they would panic and fumble making it more humorous when they discovered 2 more down. I understand that a suppressor isn't the same. There are factors to take into account like muzzle flare and proximity. But there must be something better then what we have got now. The only real accurate response is from the Super Mutants. If a tight group of five suffers a casualty the other 4 will see the body go down with a shot to the back . Then it makes sense they know where the shooter is, ( with in reason ) . If that same group of five is spread out and the last one in the group goes down, the other 4 may not know for 2 min. There buddy would just be gone... They may be worried about him or her, worried about themselves & will the same thing happen to them... Or they wont care and could even believe they just ran off like a cowered. Thats quite a lot to do, but the reaction to location and hearing the shot is the most important thing needing to be ... given a check up. As it is, You can be on a the roof of a 20 floor building in the dark during a thunder and lightning rad storm while those below are fighting off a behemoth, and the moment you take one down, the raiders, gunners or who ever; will turn like the Borg in unison & begin shooting at you. ( its not that bad but close ) . Anyone think these are good ideas?
  20. Sounds like a good idea. Ive thought of something similar including if your soaking wet, your slower, become fatigued and eventually can get ill. Changing gear, getting indoors ( to a certain extent ) or getting close to a fire can alleviate these problems. Both our ideas would work well together.
  21. Im new to this Forum & perhaps this idea may be just to big for a mod, and only worked with the actual game at point of programing. As players like me & you progress through the game, we level up & gain access to skills, equipment & eventually become more proficient with that equipment and abilities. Im sure there are those reading this & thinking " Way to go Captain Obvious ". Before you move on, Im sure this idea will be something you just might want to help me with. While there are different types of players in Fallout 4, Im sure all players will be interested in this, but far more by players who spend 3 hours a day trying to make their Settlements look & operate better.. I love the intricacies in Fallout the newest Fallout game thanks to Building settlements & issuing tasks & orders to NPC's & now Robots alike; has even more to love & maybe even drown in. I build or segregate existing buildings to fit my settlement needs, & would like the ability to do this same action with my settlers and NPC type characters that reside in my settlements. Now before you think or say, " what a jack ass he doesn't know how to issue tasks or directives to his settlers". Okay, for starters I do know how to issue orders etc. What I would like to do, is while in one of my settlements; take control of one of the settlers with in my communities while my own Character would be filling in for the settler I took. While the settler is off gallivanting like a 19 - 20 year old fleeing an Amish village. Once I have control of the settler, the settler would be given a few simple tasks or quests to complete. Not the same number my full character has, and only a basic map of the immediate area. The settler would not have to complete or even attempt the tasks, quests or missions if they didn't want to do so, & can ignore them out right. Instead they could go hunting exploring, or on a crime spree. As my character levels up, so would the settler I now control & I would be able to pick perks for the settler as he skips through the region like Dead Pool. Now, this alone would be nothing special & just a way of cluttering up the memory on your PC or console. The way this will work, is when you swap control of players, you will be given the ability to only carry a very small amount of things in your inventory ( like 5 items or 25lbs ). Your control of the NPC or settler can only last for 3 in game days or less if the settler gain's 3 levels. before you swap characters, you will be given a list of professions from the settlement the settler resides in. As the settler gains a level, there will be a reduced list or perks to choose from based on their profession. Of course there are basic perks to top up as well, plus potentially new perks suited for their new career. Now, one of your settlers has medical and health perks and can offer aid , sell medical supplies & maybe even travel between your settlements, ( like old day doctors ). I have many other ideas that are very complex while being ( in my opinion ) really good & would be happy as a clam to see my ideas appear in the game.
