CK uploading error

I have tried uploading my Creature retexture overhaul mod through the CK so I can get on the Steam workshop but I get an error message saying "Failed to write the mod file to the cloud", which is wierd because I am not having connection problems and got all the updates.

I have tried getting in tough with steam support but they aren't getting back to me. Has anyone else had this issue and could you tell me what i'm doing wrong? I have tried googling and checking other forums but no joy.

I had that issue. It was because I was set to "Appear Offline" on Steam. I think you have to be in online mode. That could be the problem.

I am in online mode, is there a special setting to "appear offline" but be in online mode, like being hidden? I havn't had chance to get working on the CK because I am focusing mainly on retextures at the mo, I saved an esp because I was prompted to (don't know if I need it) then tried to reload it as the active plugin but the skyrim.esm didn't seem to be active.

I tried to load the esm and got this message "MASTERFILE: LOCALIZATION: Lookup failed for ID: 0x00012584 from strings file: STRINGS/Skyrim_ENGLISH.DLSTRINGS", clicking yes to all seems to load it up but I suspect there will be problems with that. Does this relate to my problem?

Did you make your own ESM file? If so, that could be the problem. Basically, when you convert, make sure the Localization flag is unchecked otherwise it looks for localization data (which you wouldn't have for your mod)
