There are clearly many kinds of weapons of both categories, there isn't all that much that all guns have in common that doesn't apply to energy weapons and vice versa. In fact, I kind of think it'd be cool if both guns and energy weapons used the same skill, but that they still had plenty of perks (some of which would be simple buffs) that allowed you to specialize. Well, Im just ranting.I disagree with the merging of skills, that just dumbs down Fallout more than it already has.
