UntouchedShadow Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Alright, so I essentially want to create a new completely summon/conjuration spell that let's me conjure an angry town guard that attacks all enemies on sight. I wanted him to help me in fights until he was killed, so I duplicated the DBSummonAssassin power in the spells menu so I could use it as a template. However I need to change the model from Lucien Lachance to a Whiterun guard, but I don't know how. There's also the matter of what weapons he'll wield and how he fights. If there is a tutorial anywhere for creating summons/conjurations, then I'd love to see it. If any of you knows how to create custom summons, I'd really appreciate help.
kromey Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Spells invoke one or more Magic Effects; you have a new spell, but it's still using the same effect that summons Lucien. Duplicate the Magic Effect, and then you can change the "monster" that is summoned; then go back to your spell and set it to use your new effect. You may have to create a new actor (probably templated on a guard, I'm not sure) that you can summon; take a look at the other summonable actors (Lucien, the Atronachs, etc.) and use them as your base.
