Chewing Gum

Excuse the double post, but I just discovered why you guys don't have Big Red (at least the imported kind) in Australia. The stuff made in the States contains an additive called BHT which is designed to maintain the freshness of the product. According to that website I listed above, BHT causes asthma in some people, which is why the Aussie government doesn't allow its importation. Thought you'd all like to know.

No chewing gum generally. But sometimes I do chew: Spearmint?

In my school students and teachers cannot chew gums. It doesn't have much importance to me. Just when I am in a class, I simply reprove any of my students who's chewing gums.

ohGr, do you guys have Atomic Fireballs? They are a super hot cinnamon candy that is like a jaw breaker. So hard you can't chew it, but have to suck on it for a long time. The flavor is so intense, you can actually hurt your mouth. I did some checking and you might want to look into candydirect.com. I found a place thats based in Australia that carries a lot of American foods. Its called USAFoods and it has tons of stuff. You might want to consider Hot Tamales (cinnamon gummies) or Red Hots, or even Lemon Heads. Man, you could make a bundle off this stuff. Go nuts!

ahh yes USA foods, thats where i get my Junior Mints from, the worlds greatest....mint...their very refreshing!

i noticed this about the big red, a while ago (5 months ago) my half brother came back from america, and he got me a few packs of big red, now, ive noticed, the ones here in australia arent as strong or addictive...yet im addicted, i went through 17 sticks in less than 2 days and im on ly last packet, and i have to wait one more day till i can get more, providing their still in stock <_<

ive checked usa foods a while ago, i called them, and they cant get them, which probably adds to your statement about the australian government not allowing them....friggin john howard

If you really want to run a 'black market', first just sell as a middle man. Make no profit. Gain the little peoples trust. Then start charging. BIG. They will trust you so they wont mind... Thats how you make money!!

Hmm.. just thirteen and Im planning to run a black market. I dont know wether this is good or bad.

Which chewing gum?

Now that I quit smoking, I do chew Orbit almost always. If I don't have it at hand, any other mint or clorophile gum will do... :)

If there is any smoker round here, plz, listen to me and give it up. It's sooo relaxing not to depend on the cigarette... (now I depend on the gum and the coffee, but I don't think they're that bad ;)).

Enterprise is one thing, you could become a great entrepreneur. If it's mildly illegal, you'll either grow out of it or the opportunities will cease to exist (i.e. you become old enough to smoke, or drink or whatever). If it is seriously illegal, like dealing hard drugs, you'll probably end up in prison.

BTW - if you try to make 'big' profits someone else will undercut you. That's what business is all about.

However this is off topic. I don't chew gum.
