CK frustrations. Simple operations too slow.

I just started with the Creation Kit. Finding some basic operations inexplicably tedious. Hoping the experts know some workarounds to help a beginner begin.

1. Double click speed is too slow. Using ctrl+click to make multiple selections I have to wait a couple beats between clicks or it registers a double click and the object properties window pops up, interrupting my work.

2. Dragging objects is incredibly slow. When I move objects around by click+dragging, the mouse movement slows to a crawl. Not noticeable when positioning a candlestick, but when moving a section of dungeon it's nigh impossible.

3. Zooming is also incredibly slow. Using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out uses the tinniest increments so I have to spin the mouse wheel like mad to get to a decent overhead view. (Pressing T zooms in on selection, and if my goal is to select a large group of objects that are not in my view, scrolling out to select them all becomes a chore.)

Found mouse speed options, but had no effect on the speed of dragging objects. And can't find any setting for double click speed. (I've worked with Hammer and it has double click speed options). And adjusting my mouse settings has no affect in the kit. (My double click is at max speed.)

I can't believe I'm just nitpicking. Really hoping for some obvious workarounds. These issues are at least doubling the time I spend in the editor. If this is the only pace we can work, no wonder these games take so long to make!

You have to consider how much the CK has to process with all of this stuff. Skyrim is a humongous and complicated game. That having been said, the movement and scrolling speeds can be easily changed. Just right-click in the render window.

Maybe the zoom and drag are artificially slow because devs anticipated heavy processing for large levels, I can accept that answer if it's true. But this is not a come and go issue related to my PC's processing power, its the default settings I'm frustrated with and it happens if I have a completed level loaded or it's totally empty. And the double click issue has nothing to do with rendering.

As for adjusting settings, the only ones I can find are when I do as you say, right click the render window and go to Preview Movement. But even when I quadruple or quarter the numbers I see no effect to my actual zoom or drag object speeds.
