Actor Visual Modification Issues

Recently I've been trying to play around with how Jenassa looks, as I do not like her yellow Facepaint. I've changed her facepaint to red in the Creation Kit, and saved it, and launched Skyrim. To check that the mod was loading, I gave her an Ancient Nord Amulet, and then killed her, sure enough she dropped the amulet.

Annoyingly though, her face paint ingame remains to be Yellow, and I cannot figure out why, I've closed and reloaded the Creation Kit several times to make sure that the saved .esp file is changing her tattoo colour and it should be.

I also tried giving her the spell "Healing", in hopes she'd become less of a burden in combat. She doesn't cast the spell, and I suspect that has something to do with her combat style. I'm not so bothered about this though, the main hopes of my mod is to change her facepaint colour, which is infuriating me as I cannot figure out why he facepaint colour won't change.

If anyone could shed any light on either situation, though preferably the facepaint problem, I'd be greatly appreciative.

Thanks.

I'm having a similar problem - I changed all of the faces of Khajiit NPC's just to tweak them and make them look better in my opinion, and the very first one I tried, Kharjo, works fine. After hours of tinkering and trying to get other ones to work... Only Kharjo is changed. Everyone else has their default look.

I have no idea what's wrong or what's special that allows Kharjo to work but nobody else.

Same for me... I wanted to make a better looking Farkas... for the textures I changed only the dirt and warpaint (not touched the skin color) and I ended up with this...

I don't know what is the problem... in the CK it's all right. In the game no...

Same here, it shows up as right in the CK, but in the game it looks normal, like another mod is taking precedence...

when it's the only mod loaded.

Well, I got mine to work, selecting effected NPC's and hitting CTRL-F4 did the trick.

What happened to me was what happened to the picture of Farkas above. :\

I tried again and it worked, when my friend downloaded the Mod though, she didn't get the change. Apparantly I need to manually package the .tga file for the texture change with the mod, but how do I do this?
