Muddyscales
so i went on a mod cleansing spree, and came back to an unplayable skyrimif i start new game, it goes to the loading screen directly before the clicky-spinny lore facts loading screen, so it's just showing the imperial logo and playing the theme. this never ends, so i have to close it. then, if i press continue, it just instantly crashes. i havent tried load game yet, seeing as my most recent save was in an area with one of the mods i deleted, but i reaaaally love making characters, so help this lad out.heres the mods i have currently:(all up to date)UFOSuperior Lore Friendly HairSkyUi- AwaySkyUISkyrim ReforestationSKSE Ini pre-download for Lazy Users (and also SKSE via steam)Show Race Menu Precache KillerOne With NatureINIGOImproved EyesHorns are ForeverECEECEEAlternate Startplease help me, my crops are dying also, yeah, ok it may be the fact that i had like. a million sex mods before i went on the cleaning spree, but they're all deleted, so i dont think they have any affect on this. if they could, though, i'll try and remember what they are. Jannifer
You don't mention how you installed your mods to begin with, so I'm going right back to the beginning. Uninstall your current mods. Then, try running through this guide -- http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again -- to see if you missed something when you uninstalled all the adult mods. Then, verify the game cache through Steam to make sure the base game files are good. After that, try starting a new game and see what happens.

VikingPrince
Before you do anything else, try starting a brand new character from the beginning, and see if that works.
Numbnumb
Another suggestion would be to reinstall Skyrim. Mods sometimes change coding and don't always put things back when you delete the mod. So give the reinstall a try. You can do it right from Steam if that is where your game came from. I cannot guarantee this will solve the problem but it might as I have used this several times to restore games.
