Lost Paladin Mod & Infamy

I completed the Aylein ruin which rewarded me the Paladin Stallion. Outside the ruin is an alter, and I would assume it would be necessary to make some sort of prayer or contribution. I discovered I actually had infamy points (4) and was unable to retreive the reward from the cyrpty. My fame is 104. I thought from reading the new 'points' system I would be eligible to receive the reward from the coffin but it did not happen. I was told to pray and rid myself of my infamy. I read the forums and saw that this could be done by dowloading the Priests of Akatosh mod. I believe I completed the task as asked by the confessional priest in Cheydinal (not a talkative one is he?) and was prepared to return with the personality amulet but he did not recognize my accomplishment. How do I determine if I have completed the task and is he not inclined to speak? Or is there a problem with my installation.

How about some easier ways to remove infamy? Pray/Activate one of each Divine Wayshrine out in the wilderness. Or, use console commands. Personally, I like the console command.

Caillah, there is no "new points system" available yet. The only thing released is version 1.0 (the very same one that initially released). When version 1.1 releases, it will have the revised infamy check where a higher fame count can offset a low infamy count. Membership in "evil" factions will also weigh into the equation but version 1.0 requires 0 infamy.

 

I cannot remember details about the Priests of Akatosh but it is the only "free" solution to the infamy problem other than the console cheat command. If you have Knights of the Nine, you can do the pilgrimage to remove the infamy.

 

If Priests and Knights are not viable options, then simply use the console command to remove the infamy, nab the armor, and use the console command to add the infamy back.
