Better Sneak Awareness

I'm no coder, I don't work with scripts or the UI, my work is usually in modelling or mapping, so I don't know how hard this would be, but I'll post the request and see what people think.

When trying to sneak I've been having an issue with non-hostile animals, summoned creatures, and follower's summoned creatures causing the sneak eye to stay fully open. This, of course, makes it difficult to tell whether I am in fact well hidden, or if enemies suspect something. Of course, the simple solution would be to somehow make those creatures not affect the sneak status. However, I thought a more interesting and thorough solution would be to have a separate eye overlapping or above each enemy that the player can see, with the status changing for each of them individually.

This would alleviate the friendly/neutral sneaking problem and give the player better situational awareness when try to sneak among numerous enemies, while also forcing them to observe their foes rather than having some sort of all encompassing ESP to tell whether they are noticed.

If that doesn't sound reasonably possible, I'd at least like to see the simple solution.

I'd like to see this as well. It's annoying when I have to leave line of sight of my horse to know if I'm truly hidden. I was actually just searching for a mod to remove "awareness" of at least my mount.

If you look at your compass, enemies who think they have detected something show up on it as red dots. Though I do like your idea; don't non-hostiles affect sneak attack bonuses?

The eyes should be of a decent size and lighting. I would say the eyes should also show through walls, but that may take away from the immersion. Maybe only if the person has started to look for you, and once they stop searching the eye goes away.

This would actually make it easier to hunt deer too... Sometimes I don't know if they became aware of my presence or my follower's. Oh... what if the npcs detect followers? That would be bringing the enemies to you, but until they detect you as well the red dots don't show up. At least that's from my experience. Meanwhile, my follower is blowing the whole mission by charging in and not being sneaky >.<

There goes my red-green color blindness interfering again. I hadn't noticed that the dots were different colors .... :(
