morogoth35
Searches in general have issues not just here every where searches can be made ....example turn of safe search in a search engine and just type "mom" it won't be what you think would come up. I don't think it can be fixed with out a detailed scrutiny of every single mod, post, and picture. The man hours involved to tag every post, every picture, and every mod would be staggering considering there is over 52,000 mods in Skyrim alone. I do research all the time and key words may get responses or results I don't want but I choose not to look at those responses or results and use ones I wanted... At the end of the day it really is up to you and only you to choose what mods you look at and or use. It's not hard. Including categories will filter out the stuff you dont want. Super easy. morogoth35
I haven't blocked any tags. Skyrim nexus has over 50k mods. I certainly won't use 50k mods and I am certainly not interested in using a good 98% of them.I have never been angered by a mod type. There are more important things in life to be worried about. What it sounds like to me is intolerance. I don't agree with what morogoth35 has to say here, but that doesn't mean I should put him in the ignore user list just because I don't agree. If a female dressed in revealing clothing is upsetting to you I would recommend not playing Daggerfall (Warning pixilated boobies) or Morrowind and it's strip club/drug den. One could argue that Skyrim is not lore friendly in regards to how people are portrayed. Is ESO lore friendly because it has a naked Nord? borrowing the idea from Morrowind's naked Nords. If you don't like something in your game that's fine, but please don't use the immersion or lore friendly card. Technically Skyrim is unlore friendly and unimmersive based on this book. http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Children_of_the_Sky Also, saying "slutty follower with huge tits." Sounds an awful lot like shaming to me. Are you saying a woman is shameful because she has large breasts or because her breasts are exposed? Are the naked Nords in ESO and Morrowind slutty? You are completely missing the point. Read my first comment. All I said was that including the categories into the blocking system will fix the issue that some mod authors doesn't tag their mods. Like seriously, what are you even doing? I never said that I was offended by adult content. I said I DONT WANT followers and skimpy armor and un lore friendly mods to clutter the hot files, nothing else. No, what you said was this: Some feedback I have is this: The Issue: When you block certain tags on the nexus such as followers and skimpy armors etc, you can still sometimes see a follower or a slutty follower with huge tits on the hotfiles. This is because the mod author didn't tag his mod as a follower. Potential fix: Include categories in the blocking function. For example: If you block Followers, you don't only block the tags, you also block the follower category. Which I addressed in my comment.I also think that it is easier to not look and not click on things that I'm not interested in then to complain about their success. I don't want slutty followers with huge tits cluttering the hotfiles and thus disallowing good quality mods from being on the hotfiles. I want the categories to be included in the block filter. And your "I also think that it is easier to not look and not click on things that I'm not interested in then to complain about their success" is not gonna work for me because if I don't block the followers it WILL take the place over the good quality mods because of the fact that the nexus is mass producing followers. Before I blocked the follower and skimpy armor tag I had 5/6 slutty followers on the hotfiles. After the adding of the blocked tags I got only one follower: https://gyazo.com/073e645a888027333ceb21b70dbaa4d3 That proves that the mod author did not tag his mod correctly and that is where my suggestion to include the categories come in. Do you really need the hotfiles system to tell you if a mod is of good quality? Why do you think we have a hotfile system on the nexus? And of course I can detect a good mod without the hotfiles. Why are you even arguing? I made a suggestion to include categories in the blocking system. I'm not here to argue. Go find someone else to do that with. Are the naked Nords in ESO and Morrowind slutty? That's exactly the point and at the end of the day I play for "my" entertainment never cared for lore or what people think. I say the more mods posted the better Skyrim is 6 years old and it is still one of if not the best game ever made and is more popular than ever. I also believe in encouraging mod authors no matter what they make...I often download a mod just to endorse it I may not use it but, if I see quality work even if it is not to my liking I want to encourage not discourage all mod authors. A lot of mod authors have left the Nexus due to scrutiny that was not warranted I don't want more lost due to a tagging system that is hypocritical... I said my peace on this subject I need to get back to playing and modding my game not talking about it :) happy gaming
