Deleted43016095User
I've been playing the original Skyrim with all DLC because skse isn't out for sse yet. Trying to create a standalone follower in CK but it kicks out what I assume is an sse compatible .nif head that will not open in nifmerge. I can't figure out how to get my characters exact face going on this. Is there any workaround for this to either force it to read in nifmerge or merge them somehow without it? Thanks for any advice!! Tarshana
Unfortunately the meshes are not backwards compatible. We can port forward not backward.
Deleted3897072User
If you do a console SPF in SSE and get an exported .npc file, is that file backwards-compatible? Will it import into the Oldrim CK ? Worth a try. I can't test it myself because I no longer have Oldrim installed. If it works, though, you can then generate an Oldrim-type facegeom with CTRL-F4 in the Oldrim CK. Edited May 8, 2017 by OldMansBeard

Yeah it looks like I'm out of luck on that particular project until skse comes out for sse and I start playing that version more lol.

Oldrim CK might wipe my game on install but will look at that. Thinking that's the only way it could be done.
