ISLauraBodewig
I can't delete mods from in mod manager, so I've tried disabling it manually from the fallout 4 data folder, that didn't work either. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Nexus but all the mods still remained and I for some reason don't have permission for only nexus related files, even though I am the only person and already have take ownership installed, it even denies take ownership. Please help?
AGreatWeight
Right click the NMM icon, select properties, click the compatibility tab, tick the Run this program as an administrator (it's at the bottom) then click the change settings for all users tab at the bottom. Inside the new window that has opened, make sure that the Run this program as an administrator is also ticked. Also check in the shortcut tab, click the Advanced button and make sure that when the Advanced Properties window pops up, that Run as administrator is also ticked. That should sort out your permissions, except if you've installed NMM/Fallout 4 or Steam into either of the Program Files folders in your C drive. If that's the case, then it's likely the cause of the issue. Always a good idea to install it outside of those folders. edit: If you have installed into that location mentioned above, it is possible to migrate the Steam files etc to a different location. Best check the forums for solutions. Edited May 8, 2017 by AGreatWeight
ISLauraBodewig
Right click the NMM icon, select properties, click the compatibility tab, tick the Run this program as an administrator (it's at the bottom) then click the change settings for all users tab at the bottom. I've tried this, doesn't seem to work, for some reason all my files remain but none of the plug-ins show up for them so it's just taking empty space I don't need. As well as when I try to manually delete the cache it says I need permission from myself. Here's the error I get, yes I have all permisions and ran everything in admin mode and uninstalled 5 times. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F88-ta6wVYI&feature=youtu.be

iXenite
Restart your computer in Safe Mode to delete your files. I've had to this for a while now, and it is incredibly annoying. I've disable Windows' UAC, and it still is a requirement for me. I use MO, not NMM, just in case you wanted to know if it was something that only plagues NMM.
