Orfevs
I'm trying rather desperately to find a way to categorize items in the Smelter, such as : Iron -> Misc iron itemsSteel -> Misc steel items rather than have the lot in "Misc". Any help in that area?( Funny enough, everything seems to fall under the right categories using the forge, so I can only assume it's an UI issue. Then again, I'm blank in that field. )
ScarabMonkey
I believe that the category in which a recipe appears is inherited from the object that it creates. So you'd have to set an Iron keyword onto the object itself. hope this helps! Orfevs
Tried that. Used keywords for each metal rather than just "Smelter". Same result. Of course, I put those keywords into the smelter "workbench" as well in order to actually use them with the smelter. The objects themselves take only one keyword though. Zonzai
To get my cloth gloves craftable under the leather category I copied the whole stack of keywords from some leather gloves.
Dragten
Try adding keywords to the result item. (not the recipe)Wisest thing is to look at, how the vanilla stuff is made.
eltucu
I think that categories are hardcoded. Thats why you see many mods with the new recipes in the "Misc" section, cant create new categories as far as i know.
Semtex
Crafting type (workbench) is determined by "Workbench keyword" in recipes. The same object can be produced according to different recipes at different workbench.
nivea
So there really is no way to add new categories to current crafting stations?
