UntouchedShadow
I've been working on a new summonable character and a guy told me that you could make it appear as if an NPC were on fire, much like the flame atronach. It's purely for visual effect though and there are no pros and cons to it. I want to know how to add this effect onto my npc summon.
skizophrenic
I'm just guessing, but I believe this would be offensive to the gay community.

The arrow to the knee joke is funnier than what you just said. Damn, I knew I wouldn't get any help here.
ChibiShedevil
I did something similar in a mod I'm working on. Perhaps it'll work for you. I suggest duplicating a firey magic effect, maybe the flame cloak, (making sure FX persist is checked and Harmful is not) then adding it to a new ability/spell then adding the ability to your NPC's spell list if that makes any sense. Hope this helps.

Hope this helps. I was thinking about doing that, but summoned NPCs get finicky if there's more than one spell/shout in their spell list. Then again, when I added more than one, they were all shouts, so I'll have to give this a go.
SilverfeetStudio
An easy way in oblivion was to create a ring or something that had a constant fire damage effect on it that burned for 1hp damage a second, and then a restore health effect that healed for 1hp a second - might work if the spell system is similar?
