puntasticpancakes
So recently i bought a new computer, and it has 2 HD's (C drive, with very little space, and D drive, with 1TB). C drive already has a lot of s*** on it, so i installed all of my steam games and such to the D drive to save space. Once i booted up NMM (I always activate NMM with administrator privileges on), I started reinstalling all of my mods. For some reason, every time i try to install and activate a mod in NMM, it says that "An error occurred during installation", and wont let me install the mod (I tested this out with FNIS, A few clothing mods, XP32 Expanded Skeleton, and a few weapon mods, all of them had the same error). I think the problem stems from my Multi HD/Virtual install settings. I have the Virtual install folder set to my D drive, and i enabled multi HD since the game isnt installed on C, its on D (With the Multi HD Install Folder being located on a different folder in D drive as well). I have no clue what to do Edited May 21, 2017 by puntasticpancakes
Kroekr
You did not say that I saw but is NMM on C or D drive? It should be on the same drive as steam and neither should be in your program files directory (which is probably on C so it wont matter with game on D)
puntasticpancakes
Nexus is installed onto D, as is steam. Also, the game IS installed onto D, i just realized i messed that up Edited May 21, 2017 by puntasticpancakes
puntasticpancakes
Alright, i reconfigured my virtual install locations and such so that everything is correct. I tried installing now, but now it says there is an error with 7zipsharp. Apparently there are a lot of people who are having the same error. I have 10 free gigabytes on my C drive, so it cant be that i don't have enough space to do the initial install of the mods. Anybody know of any fixes?
