TheMastersSon
Some (in fact many ime) sites give users a few minutes (up to 10 on our sites) to make edits to new posts, for spelling and grammar corrections, before marking posts as edited. Has this idea been considered here? Even five minutes would be appreciated.
Thandal
Curious. What possible difference does it make?
TheMastersSon
It's nicer when edit notations mean a post has been edited for substantial content instead of simple corrections. They mean less when very close to all posts have them. I think it's why so many sites allow a grace period.
Thandal
So few people notice/care if/when a post has been "edited" that we're really only talking about the OP, aren't we?
TheMastersSon
It depends on the site, but mostly yes.
