Multi
It was a glitch most likely. I came across something like that when I was in Vivec. I was jumping when I transitioned cells, this caused me to fly 75 feet up. Another time something like that happened was in Balmora, but that time I flew up until I hit the top of the map. I was also on the Xbox when I experienced those glitches I was playing the original (non GOTY) version.
Kethruch
Are you sure you didn't have Tarhiel's (sp) scrolls loaded? Remember what happens to him - a representation of what you just described. I've accidentally had things loaded and gotten some pretty wierd and unexpected results.
Malchik
Are you sure you didn't have Tarhiel's (sp) scrolls loaded? Remember what happens to him - a representation of what you just described. I've accidentally had things loaded and gotten some pretty wierd and unexpected results. Oh tell me about it! My most infuriating experiences have been when I've cast recall and forgotten to move out of casting mode. On one occasion I flew all the way from Vivec temple to the Sanctus Shrine on th pilgrimage of silence and as I came into land I accidentally cast and found myself back at Vivec Temple. I went and made a cup of strong coffee and used words even I didn't know knew!
Slaiv
Yeah....Scroll of Icarian Flight. They should put a warning label: "WARNING: DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WEIGH MORE THAN AN ELEPHANT! [Or Oliphant.]
cmac
You my have had a jump potion/spell/item equipped. Jump makes your character jump much migher than usual. But if you went up high enough so that you couldn't see the ground, then it was probably the scroll of Icarian Flight.
Multi
I am sure I didn't use a Scroll of Icarian Flight, because I was bunny hopping without going into my inventory. Also that was before I had encountered Tarhiel. It must have been a glitch, well at least for me. It seems logical that he accidentally had a Scroll of Icarian Flight loaded.Oh tell me about it! My most infuriating experiences have been when I've cast recall and forgotten to move out of casting mode. Me too. I have accidentally cast recall and lost all my progress on a large journey many a time.
SilvuruAgnost
Scroll of Icarian Flight. Is it a quest where you most use it or can I just juse it when it pleas me??
Marxist ßastard
Three Scrolls of Icarian Flight can be found on the corpse of Tarhiel, who lands at your feet on the path from Seyda Neen Northwest to Hla Oad. There is no quest where you must use the item, though it helps on some long treks from the Northern West Gash to Sheogorad.
saldrex
The scrols are very dangerous and if you do not land in water the fall will be so large that you will die. Also there is a warning on them first you see the creater fall to his death after using them and i believe you can read more on the book near his corpse. Also the name should give it away. Come on icarian flight. In ancient mythology icarus flew with wax wings, flew too close to the sun, they melted, and he fell to his death.
