dfennec
I'm attempting to modify a mod, the Lydia is a Khajiit. I use the CBBE v3 body and have a special high res texture set for the 'jiit. When disrobed there is a glaring difference between the head and the rest of the body, the head is grey-tinted, the rest of her is brown like I want. Yet in the CK the color shows up correctly, it's not carrying over to the game itself. I've been tearing my hair out for over two hours trying to get it to work, I'm at a complete loss. I could just give in and let her be grey, it's a rather lame workaround but I could do it if push came to shove. Any suggestions or clues as to what I may be doing wrong? I'm loading the CK, and selecting the esm, making it the active file, and if that's where my mistake is, let me know. -- EDIT -- Sounds like the same issue others are having with dark heads. Interesting. Edited February 14, 2012 by dfennec

gsmanners
We ran into this issue all the time in Fallout 3 after a certain revision. Basically, you have to ESM-ify your mod to make new NPCs look right.
