Some mods not working (but some will)

I hope I'm not being a bother but some of the mods I put in don't work, like the following:

Towbie's Realistic Weapon Sounds - Towbie"s Realistic Firearms

Portable Junk Recycler - Portable Junk Recycler (can craft it, but just disappears when used)

Proto Vault Suits

Possibly NCR Veteran Armor, either that or I can't find it.

Can anyone tell me why that is?

Tried sorting your load order with LOOT?

Also, there's like a million posts about mods not working, majority of which contain solutions. It's no good just posting a few mods that don't work and hoping people have a cure. Always give as much information as possible. PC specifications, current game version, any DLC you have installed, methods you've tried yourself before posting, search more than once on Google to find a solution.

Sounds like I'm being an arse (and I am a little but playfully lol), just you waste your own time with posting next-to-no information, is all. People are also less-inclined to help somebody who just says "this doesn't work" and waits for an answer. Hence the views and not one person has replied.

What do you mean: " don't work " ?

No not being a P.I.T.A., do you mean:

1 - Do you CTD when you activate them?

2 - They are not seen in your game?

Depending on your answer ... will help give focus to a possible solution.

.. Jj ...

Okay, clearly I wasn't clear enough when I posted, plus I haven't ran across some of the termonolgy.

The portable recycler can be crafted at a chem station and is put into my inventory, but when I go to use it (it show's up under Misc. in game) it disappears, like after you use your last item. It is taken out of your list and the game just continues if nothing happens. It's supposed to bring up that shopping/transfer windows and have you pick your junk on the left and put it "into" the recycler on the right. I assume after that it breaks them down into base components and puts them into your inventory and closes the windows, either going back to the game or your Pip Boy.

The realistic weapon sounds just doesn't work. I fire my gun, it's supposed to have a new, better sound, but instead it just makes the default/vanilla sound.

The Proto Vault Suits and NCR Veteran armor don't show up. The vanilla vault suits don't change and you can't buy them anywhere. It also doens't mention where you can find them. The same goes for the Armor. No sells it, and if it is hidden somewhere in the game they don't tell you where in the mod (which is infuriating).

I don't know LOOT or CTD mean. Does CTD mean the console thing that comes up when you push ~ ? I haven't used that and am not 100% sure how to.

I've got the latest version of the game (bought it on Steam a couple weeks ago) with all of the DLC and downloaded the Nexus Mod Manager on Friday.

My Computer Specs:

Processor: AMD A10-7800 RadeonR7, 12 Computer Cores 4C + 8G 3.50Ghtz

Installed Memory: 12 GB of RAM

with a GEFORCE GTX 1050i graphics card

I'm running the latest version of Windows 10 64 bit

I'll give you a list of all my mods if someone can tell me how to copy and paste all of the mod names. Right now it copies everything and that's a lot of text, unless of course putting all of it in helps.

I figured out that CTD means Crash To Desktop.

Also, I found the NCR Veteran Armor so that's not a problem.

Still really want the gun SFX and Portable Recycler to work, if anyone would be kind enough to help.

the easy way to get your load order is in Nexus Mod Manager.

click on the plugins tab at the top and it will show all your mods in order.

to the left of this are some icons. one says "export load order"

click on that and then select to text file from the options given.

remember where you saved it then copy the contents and paste them into a reply here.

if you have a lot of mods it is best to paste them into spoiler tags
pasted load order
so that it doesn't flood the page with text
