More Snow?!?!

Okay. So, I live up in Minnesota (Minneapolis), and it was just getting nice here. So then, the weather man announces that there will be more snow on Friday, but it will pass North of us. So then , they get snow up North, AND down South. So basically, Minneapolis is surrounded by snow. You know that's not a good sign.

So, I wake up the next morning, use the bathroom, get back upstairs, and look out my window.

Worst mistake EVER.

There's snow EVERYWHERE. I mean EVERYWHERE! :ninja:

I mean sure, I like snow and all, but for gods sake, COME ON!!! It's the middle (end) of fricken April!

Grrrr....... :pinch:

If it weren't for my employment, I've thought of moving to Canada. I love it when it snows here since people drive with their windows closed and I don't have to listen to THUMP THUMP THUMP as they go down the road and they're still a half mile away.

Ahhh... I remember those days. Remember unless it's July and August, all bets are off  I do miss the snow sometimes, then I remember how cold it gets up there. One year I remember trick or treating in snow that was 8 inches deep, I think I was around 10. Good times... good times...

Ah yes. That must have been the "Great Halloween Blizzard of '91."

I wasn't alive yet, but was in my moms womb... must've been cold. XP

I dunno about that. I can speak Canadian, eh, but not sure I can speak A(brrr)laskin. Spent part of my youth in South Dakota, and remember not seeing the ground because of snow from about mid Nov until April. Figured Canada was pretty much the same.

Spent a number of years on the Texas Gulf Coast. It was hot, or hot and humid, or humid and hot all the time. After that, when people here in Colorado mention it's hot, I ask, "where ?"

Got a freak snow flurry here 1 May....left about 1/2 snow, then half hour later, it warmed up into the low sixties. I didn't even have time to go make a snowbunny. (snowmen are so blase)

Notice you don't post much for the time you've been in. Either a quiet woman, or you've better things to do. Any way, welcomes to the newbie.
