DYNE1
Dear Modder, I am currently messing around with retexturing, and have come across an issue with the imaged attached where I have circled. I can't seem to get rid of it, could someone please advise me on what I need to do to get rid of it?
Macrophobic
So what happens when you just choose "Edit/Clear" or press Delete key? Maybe you selected the wrong layer? If not Delete it might be backspace, I'm not sure cause I use GIMP for texture editing.
Deleted15964729User
Guessing that texture is from substance painter? Looks like dilation + diffusion. If you want that part to not show up using alpha to make it opaque should be pretty simple. Or are you having issues editing the layer? Make sure its not locked. tomomi1922
I can't claim I am expert in texture editing, but are you saying that the highlighted part on the left is causing problem to the right? Can you show the origin of this mod? I remember the look of this outfit somewhere. I highly doubt it's Vanilla asset. Is it Fortaleza bodysuit? Guessing that texture is from substance painter? Make sure its not locked. What is Substance Painter? Sounds like a software I want to get. If this is photoshop, I would make sure OP have to clear the area either directly or using Mask (I always prefer mask, non-destructive). Save it as PSD to retain your work, hide all unnecessary layers, then when using either nVidia or Intel DDS plugin to save DDS, make sure you pick "texture only" (with no normal map generation) and "alpha" somewhere in the setting. Otherwise, Photoshop will save the transparent part as black.
