IBN5100 Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Has there been a mod for it already or some work around? I can't seem to change the looks of my High Elf without it losing the highborn racial bonus, same goes as well as being a vampire.
Rennn Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 (edited) I think there's been a mod, but I don't remember it. Edited February 14, 2012 by Rennn
Xarnac Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 showracemenu is changing things other than just your appearance?
imperistan Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Yes showracemenu screws with your stats unfortunately. I imagine the functionality must still exist somewhere, because it was possible in FO3 and I doubt that things have changed so much between the two games that the same functionality couldn't be re-implemented for Skyrim.

FO3 had plastic surgery, and I think FNV had something similar. Maybe that will come back if they do a serious magic or Dwemer DLC.
Jazz162 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 A mod for editing your character any way you wish mid game, enjoy :) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3142

Anya29 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) I thought I replied to this earlier, must have been lost in the downtime. You use showracemenu to change everything but sex, race or select a preset. Then to get racial effects back just save, exit and reload they will come back. If you find it doesn't type player.setrace highelfrace For Vampire's losing the feeding effect just type - player.setrace highelfracevampire (or nordrace, bretonrace, etc....) All races on here - http://skyrim-slim.tumblr.com/post/13618774751/setrace-full-list I've used this quite a few times to make changed, short blonde to long blonde, brunette, red head, black hair, new black hair, eyeliner, tribal warpaint, no warpaint. And I'm still a Nord with nordic powers. And if by some crazy event that doesn't work, as long as you create a savegame before you type showracemenu you can always go back to your current settings. It will only when you change race, so u need to keep it unchanged.

Is anyone else aware of a mod or utility that allows you to customize characters mid-game?
