BlueGunk
In trying to check my problem, one thing I heard is that added security layers might cause slow down. (Bear with me, I am very stupid when it comes to this sort of stuff...)I understand some people have on-board software that will either encrypt a download channel (added security) or force a secure (https) connection. Apparently these can slow things down. For example, I had a DNS encrypter I had installed to protect both ends of a download line (I used for banking before mobile apps arrived). So I had one of these sorts of things just sitting around. I don't use it so removed it a couple of days ago to see if that helped me.Either because I re-found the servers, or because I removed this software, my downloads are back to normal. Might that be worth looking into?
